In this session of advanced chemistry we look at specific chemicals and their functions within the water environment, how they react to contaminants in the water and how to best use these chemicals to achieve the desired results. We will look at the following:

• Specific chemical treatments to treat the various algaes in the water environment
• Specialty chemicals and systems designed to disinfect and sanitise water.
• The water balancing act - how best to achieve optimum water balance with specific balancing chemicals.
